Customer Notice: Expansion of Basic Feed Certification

Starting June 22, 2026, we will expand our roughage certification for ruminants to include additional calculated parameters:

•    digestible lysine (SIDLys),
•    digestible methionine (SIDMet),
•    digestible NDF (NDFD).

For practical evaluation, the red classification code from the DLG Feed Value Table for Ruminants (Chapter 4: “Decision Aid for Degradation Dynamics and SIDP”) is of particular importance. To ensure that the calculated values are reported correctly, we ask that you include this code on your test request form in the future.

Since the new feed evaluation initially requires practical experience for all parties involved, we will report both the previous and the new feed evaluations in parallel during a transition period. We will coordinate the timing of the full transition with you.
