Our range of methods covers all relevant inorganic and organic substances and pollutants.

We also carry out studies for you in accordance with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in categories 6 (residue analysis) and 9 (soil analysis).

GLP-Studies

Range of services: GLP Studies Categorie 6 


LUFA Speyer was first certified according to GLP standards in 1993 and since then has successfully carried out GLP studies in category 6 (residue studies) for the following analytes, among others:

  • Pesticide active ingredients and degradation products (multi and single methods)
  • Determination of copper in plant samples using ICP-OES

Included in the range of services:

  • Preparation of test plans
  • Implementation of the study (according to EU guideline SANTE/2020/12830, method validation (extraction efficiency, calibration, recovery rates), determination of residue levels)
  • Preparation of a QA-tested GLP report in German or English
  • Archiving of data and samples under GLP conditions
  • Disposal or transfer of the data and samples after the GLP retention periods have expired (after consultation with the customer)

Range of services: GLP Studies Categorie 9 

LUFA Speyer was first certified according to GLP standards in 1993 and since then has successfully carried out GLP studies in category 9 (soil analysis) for the following parameters, among others:

  • Absolute dry matter in soil as well as dry matter and water content of plants
  • max. water capacity of disturbed soil samples
  • max. water holding capacity of disturbed soil samples according to DIN
  • Water retention capacity
  • Microbial biomass of soils (SIR, substrate-induced respiration)
  • Dry mass of soils
  • pH value in soils
  • Particle size distribution in soils and soil type (according to DIN or USDA)
  • Cation exchange capacity of soils (potential CEC)
  • Cation exchange capacity of soils according to DIN (effective CEC)
  • Carbon and nitrogen content in soils
  • Phosphorus in soils
  • Bulk density of soils
  • Lime content in soils
