Girls' & Boys' Day 2026 at LUFA Speyer

On April 23, 2026, we once again opened our doors to interested students as part of the nationwide Boys’ & Girls’ Day. Equipped with lab coats and safety goggles, they gained exciting insights into the diverse areas of work at a modern laboratory and research facility, as well as the career paths of chemical engineers and biology lab technicians.

At various lab stations, the students were able to get hands-on and learn about scientific methods: using microscopes, examining seeds and soil samples, performing chromatography and titration, and isolating real DNA. A lab puzzle quiz provided a fun break in between.
